There’s another celebrity bun in the oven. Actress Tamera Mowry-Housley is joining the motherhood league with her twin sister Tia as she announces that she is expecting her first child.
Tamera is going to be a mommy!
The Sister, Sister twin and television star is expecting her first baby with newly wedded husband and Fox News correspondent Adam Housley. Tamera’s exciting baby news comes 10 months after her twin sister Tia gave birth to her baby boy last summer.
“Adam and I are excited about having a baby and the blessing that he or she will bring to our lives and to our family and friends,” says Tamera to People. “We can’t wait to meet this little miracle!”
Those of you who loved ’90s television and remember the antics of twins Tia and Tamera know that they used to do everything together — even though they were complete opposites. And now that they’re not on television anymore, the twin sisters still seem to do everything in sync, even if they’re not trying to!
Though we’re sure Tamera truly does love her sister, her decision to have a child had nothing to do with some sisterly competition. In fact, the 33-year-old expectant mother tells People that she and Adam were not rushing to have kids, but after a trip to South Africa, she changed her mind.
“It’s just so beautiful there, and you get a whole new perspective on life, the things that really matter,” says Tamera. “Adam and I looked at each other and said, ‘Why wait?’”
