She’s not just a one-pony act. Rihanna has conquered singing, acting and now she’s ready to take over the fashion industry with her own fashion line.

The “Birthday Cake” artist wants to take her love for fashion to the next level with her very own fashion line. Already known for her unique and ever-changing sense of fashion, the Barbados’s beauty is ready to fully enter the cut, sew and design world of fashion.
“I’m really pursuing a fashion line of my own. I want to design,” said Rihanna to Ryan Seacrest according to RyanSeacrest.com. “This is also a road that I want to earn it.”
The singer, who already collaborates on a small collection with top designer Armani, says after their spring collection comes out she’s going to begin her line.
“I’m working with designers. Designers that I respect, and [fashion] companies that I respect.”
We all know Rihanna has an amazing style, sans the see-through mesh top she wore a while back, but we can always count on her for being a chameleon in fashion. Whether she’s donning a golden Versace gown or wearing a match-on denim outfit, we hope Rihanna designs her collection to reflect her style. Rihanna told Ryan that she’s keen on starting her line and building up her name in the fashion biz.
“I want people to really trust me before I just say ‘Buy it, because it’s mine.’”
And this isn’t the only fashion endeavor Rihanna has under her designer belt – she’s also producing a new U.K. reality television competition show that will have her appearing on the show and mentoring eager and talented fashion prodigies.
A reality fashion show and her own designer collection? Watch out Victoria Beckham, you may have some friendly competition.
