Justin Bieber is not a kid anymore and he’s proving this in his latest interview.
Donning Dolce & Gabbana on the cover and wearing various haute couture clothing such as Versace throughout his photo shoot, Justin trades in his laid back, cool look for some edgy attire for
V Magazine‘s first music issue.
In a personal and upfront interview, the Biebs opens up about his aspirations, goals and the transitions he wants to make in his life. With only two months until his birthday and being labeled as the “pop crown prince,” Justin says he wants to keep doing more.
“I want to be the best. In the world. I want to be better than anybody that’s ever done it,” says Justin about gaining success in the magazine feature.
But it isn’t just the edgy attire that catches your eye. It’s his extremely honest responses.
In the interview, Justin talks with V Magazine‘s Elliott David about entering adulthood, love and shedding his teen pop persona, all while maintaining his stardom. And he plans on doing it his way – not the music industry way.
“I’m not going to try to conform to what people want me to be or go out there and start partying…” Justin said blatantly in the interview. “I don’t want to start singing about things like sex, drugs, and swearing.”
Since catapulting into music success around the age of 15 with his top-charting single, “Baby,” and selling out major music venues in minutes, the pop sensation reveals that he’s only going to keep working harder. Justin says he plans to follow Michael Jackson‘s path of music – not lifestyle – and stick to lyrics and songs that everyone can enjoy and assures that he will stay determined and confident throughout his career.
“I’m here now, and I’m going to keep proving to people that I’m here for good.”
