This week the judges will only comment on each performances, but won’t score… That will be left up to the Canadian television viewers’ votes. The skating couples will offer up two performances, the first is the “Skaters’ Choice” both music and the routine’s direction is the choice of the pair. The second skate is their favourite performance of the competition.

Ron and Kurt will perform!

Viewers can look forward to an ensemble piece by all eight pairs of the competition, followed by the “Men of Blades” with co-hosts Ron MacLean — who has recently taken to figure skating and Kurt Browning performing with the eight ex-NHLers. Browning, then joins the “Women of Blades” for a figure skating spectacle.

The evening’s entertainment will reach new heights when pro, Violetta Afanasieva and her husband Pete Dack demonstrate “extreme” figure skating style — not for the faint-hearted!
