Mel B is making headlines this week for opening up about a four-year relationship she had with a woman. But, she’s hardly the only celeb who doesn’t have a preference between men and women. We’ve rounded up a list of notable bisexual celebs; some might even surprise you.

1. Mel B

Mel B tops our list as the most recent celeb making headlines for her sexuality. The former Spice Girl opened up about her experimental phase and disclosed to the Guardian that she had a four-year relationship with a woman prior to getting married to her husband, Stephen Belafonte, in 2007.

Though Lady Gaga initially discussed her bisexuality with Barbara Walters in a 2010 interview, she has never been shy about sharing the deets of her sexual preferences. Aside from her music, it is her openness that has helped solidify her as an icon for the gay community.

Though he is now married to a woman, Armstrong himself confirmed there are most likely more pictures of him on the internet kissing men than women. We did a Google search and, from our observation, we can also back up his statement. Armstrong discussed his bisexuality in a 1995 interview with The Advocate.

Ocean posted a message on Tumblr in 2012 that read, “4 summers ago, I met somebody. I was 19 years old. He was too. We spent that summer, and the summer after, together. Everyday almost… by the time I realized I was in love, it was malignant. It was hopeless. There was no escaping, no negotiating to the women I had been with, the ones I cared for and thought I was in love with.”

10. Marlon Brando

“Like a large number of men, I, too, have had homosexual experiences and I am not ashamed,” Brando said, according to BuzzFeed. “I have never paid much attention to what people think of me.”

In 2006, the Sunday Times described Brando as “bisexual and voracious. The roles he lived off-screen were even more provocative than those he created in films.”

11. Megan Fox

Fox told Esquire in 2011, “I think people are born bisexual and then make subconscious choices based on the pressures of society. I have no question in my mind about being bisexual. But I’m also a hypocrite: I would never date a girl who was bisexual, because that means they also sleep with men, and men are so dirty that I’d never want to sleep with a girl who had slept with a man.”

12. Clive Davis

Banks told Rolling Stone in 2012 that she feels like she gets special attention from her gay fans. “I mean, I’m bisexual, so it makes sense. 14. Andy Dick

Many people think Dick is gay when, in fact, he has openly discussed his sexuality in the past. In a 2006 interview, Dick told the Washington Post, “Just because I’ve been with guys, and I’m bi, doesn’t mean I’m gay.”

15. David Bowie

Bowie revealed he was bisexual in a 1976 interview with Playboy, after years of staying mum on the subject. “It’s true — I am a bisexual,” he explained. “But I can’t deny that I’ve used that fact very well. I suppose it’s the best thing that ever happened to me.”

16. Amber Heard

Though Heard has long been openly bisexual, she discussed her preferences in a 2013 interview with Elle magazine. “I didn’t want to look like I was hiding anything. I’m not, and wasn’t ever, ashamed.”

19. Malcolm X

The Guardian outed Malcolm X back in 2009, saying, “Malcom X’s bisexuality is more than just a question of truth and historical fact. There has never been any black person of similar global prominence and recognition who has been publicly known to be gay or bisexual. Young black lesbian, gay and bisexual people can, like their white counterparts, often feel isolated, guilty and insecure about their sexuality. They could benefit from positive, high-achieving role models to give them confidence and inspiration. Who better than Malcolm X?”

20. Anna Paquin

Paquin might be the most famous celeb to come out as bisexual in the past few years, thanks to the success of her show, True Blood, which pushed the limits of what’s acceptable on television, but especially in terms of what’s sexually acceptable.

“For me, it’s not really an issue because I’m someone who believes being bisexual is actually a thing. It’s not made up. It’s not a lack of decision,” Paquin told Zooey magazine in 2009.

21. Angelina Jolie

It’s easy to forget Jolie‘s history given the fact that she’s now a global humanitarian, mom, actress and, well, we’ll just say it, as close to a superhero as humanity has come. But she also means it when she says she’s a lover of people. All people. When she’s not opening up about ways we can save the world, Jolie is also more than happy to discuss her sexual preferences. Before settling down with Brad Pitt, she was in many relationships with men and women.
