Usher's ex-wife on the sex tape news: 'People are so thirsty'
Let's face is, Usher is a good-looking guy, so if there's a sex tape of him getting down and dirty, we get it: some people may want to see it. However, there's so much more to this story.
Someone is shopping around a stolen sex tape belonging to Usher, whose real name is Usher Terry Raymond IV, and it's on the black market.
According to TMZ, when someone broke into the R&B star's car back in 2010 they stole two laptops, two video cameras and almost $1 million dollars in fancy jewelry. And the steamy home video that Usher and his ex-wife Tameka Foster made was among those things that happened to be stolen, because it was on one of the laptops.
The thief of the "DJ Got Us Fallin' in Love" hit maker's sex tape tried to sell the tape shortly after getting their hands on it, but luckily no one would touch it, knowing that it was stolen. Although, that might be changing now because four years later the tape has resurfaced and according to TMZ, someone is "trying to hawk it."
Even though adult film companies don't want it, some online blogs may not feel the same way. According to TMZ, lawyer Mark Geragos is "repping Usher and is aggressively on the hunt to find the person who's trying to cash in."
Usher and Foster filed for divorce in June 2009, citing irreconcilable differences, and claimed at the time they had been living apart for a year (around the same time the car was broken into). The last thing these two need is for their intimate matters to be splashed around in public.
Foster also has something to say about the news that the tape has resurfaced and she's not one bit happy about it. According to MadameNoire, the former stylist allegedly told them via a statement that she thinks it's sad how invested in her personal life people are.
"It's sad where the world has come to today. I know I have never made a sex tape, especially not for distribution. You get married so you can do whatever it is you want. My ex-husband and I definitely made our children the old-fashioned way; they are not products of the immaculate conception. That was my husband. We had a lot of fun. He was my husband in a proper sense. No wifey fake shit. I think the world has gotten really desperate to be so invasive in people's lives. There should be some limitations and hopefully laws barring people from doing this stuff," she revealed.
Foster also went on to explain that she has no idea why people want to watch her and her former husband, Usher, have sex.
"I don't know if they're trying to extort money or what because no one has ever approached me about it," she said. "People are so thirsty. They are thirst trappers; the thirst is so real. Sex is so important to everyone. Why do you want to watch a married couple?"
It's likely this sex tape will be leaked somewhere (we've seen how destructive the internet can be during the celeb nude hack), but let's hope no one stoops so low as to pay the thief for it.
