5 Reasons the Duggar family really needs to #FreeJinger
With Jessa and Jill Duggar getting married this year, many fans of 19 Kids and Counting are noticing that Jinger Duggar doesn't want to have the same type of life. Here are a few reasons Jinger should escape from an early life of housewifery and do whatever the heck she wants.
1. She wants to live in New York City
Her sister, Jessa, has said on camera that Jinger "doesn't want to live three hours out from civilization." Jinger agreed, "No! City, please, city, please." However, mama, Michelle, has vetoed that idea.
She told Radar Online, "Jinger didn't mean she wanted to move to New York City. She meant that she wants to live closer to a city. We're talking right near a city, but not New York City. Jinger meant she wanted to live 15 minutes from a Walmart. We live so far out of town on 20 acres, but Jinger wants to live closer to town, so she doesn't have to drive so far to go shopping." OK, whatever you say, Mom.
2. The fans want something bigger for her
Take a look at some of the tweets. The viewers can see that Jinger has different aspirations from her sisters. Someone has even created a FreeJinger.org website talking about the family's religion and some of the restrictions it places on the young women.
3. Her facial expressions tell a different story
While Jinger plays a good game of obedient daughter with her parents, the camera doesn't lie. The spunky girl has a bit of edge and snark to her. Take a look at what the fans are noticing.
4. Jinger has a bit of tomboy in her
While her sisters are decked out in dresses, Jinger loves rocking the track pants. She even went out hunting with her brothers. The other girls in the family stayed at home.
5. Jinger has career goals
Jinger has flirted with photography throughout the TLC show and she could easily start her own photography business in a big city. It would be wonderful if the Duggars allowed their daughter to explore her artistic side before walking down the aisle and cranking out 19 babies of her own.
