Tori Spelling grew up as the daughter of one of the most important men in Hollywood, so she had become accustomed — at a young age — to a certain standard of living.

But after losing her dad and fighting with her mom resulted in money issues, it looks like Spelling and husband Dean McDermott are living "paycheck to paycheck." The actress made the admission on her Lifetime show True Tori, explaining that supporting a family of six is not cheap.

But after the show aired a source told E! News that Spelling and McDermott have "gone through $18 million since they've been together." The claim doesn't help the rumors that the couple are headed to divorce. But that hasn’t stopped them from keeping the same lifestyle they have always been accustomed to.

"I don't want to change our lifestyle," Spelling said on her show. "That's why I work so hard. I don't want to change."

"Why should we have to? My dad wouldn't have wanted this."

Spelling and her mom had a falling out after Aaron Spelling died, with Tori receiving only $800,000 of her dad's $600 million fortune. According to E!, this came because of Tori's irresponsible spending. But being cut off apparently didn't stop her spending habits.

"It's no mystery why I have money problems," Tori Spelling wrote in her book. "I grew up rich beyond anyone's dreams. I never knew anything else. Even when I try to embrace a simpler lifestyle I can't seem to let go of my expensive tastes. And then there's my shopping problem. I've bought ridiculous amounts of stuff for the kids, clothing, toys, crafts."

Spelling and her mom Candy have apparently made up since their falling out, which has included Candy offering her daughter some of the Spelling family fortune.

"Candy has offered to pay for the kids' schools many times, but Tori has never accepted her offer," the source said.
