Bruce Jenner's 65th birthday look sparks more drag rumors
Bruce Jenner once again raised eyebrows by sporting a peculiar manicured look on his 65th birthday, while smoking a cigarette. Jenner's nails were enough to cause a stir, but seeing the avid health nut lighting up was also quite odd.
Despite Jenner's many denials that he's going through a gender transition, the distanced Kardashian patriarch showed huge clues to the contrary during a birthday outing. The former Olympian was seen riding in a car, lighting up a cigarette, which he held with a pretty manicured hand complete with fire-red nail polish, E! News reported.
Ever since Jenner's split from wife Kris Jenner last year, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has been changing his looks toward a more feminine appearance. He has much longer hair, smooth facial skin and often looks like he's wearing lip gloss. The quiet reality staple also gave more hints at a possible sex change when he underwent a procedure to shave down his Adam's apple.
So, the blatant red nails Jenner flashed on Tuesday further gave way to more questions as to what he is up to regarding his increasingly womanly looks.
Meanwhile, his soon-to-be ex Kris, who he's remained good friends with, says that Jenner is not becoming a female by any means. "It's silly. They've been saying that since the '70s. You'd think it'd be cooked by now, I don't know — but [that storyline] keeps continuing... They keep regurgitating the same old stuff."
But while the denials keep coming, it has to be recognized that flaming red nails are not a usual look for a regular straight guy. With the previous clues to Jenner's gradual womanly transition, the colorful nails can only amplify speculations that the father of 10 is definitely going through some kind of change.
As for the cigarette, that's a bigger mystery. Perhaps Jenner is going for the smoky diva look — or just dealing with some stress.
