Kelly Clarkson belted out Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off" live in concert recently, and after listening to it, we have to ask if it's better than the original.

Is that Adele? No, it may sound a bit like her, but it's Kelly Clarkson kicking off her version of Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off" with a whole lot of gospel-like heart and soul. From there, she plays with the rhythm and vocals and takes Swift's party anthem to a place that makes us want to listen to it more than the obligatory one-and-done.

Is Swift threatened by Clarkson's more substantive version of her song? Nah. She's gonna shake it off. Swift, being the marketing minx that she is, took to Twitter to say, "Watching Kelly Clarkson SLAY 'Shake It Off' is an excellent way to celebrate 26 HOURS TIL 1989!!!!!!"

The two versions are difficult to compare fairly because they are so different, but Clarkson's version comes off as more vocally interesting and memorable. Listen to Clarkson's version (she starts singing about a minute into the clip), and then watch Swift's version below. Then tell us: Whose version do you like better?
