J.K. Rowling released one of her last three novels in almost complete anonymity, but she is making sure to be very up front about her next one.
J.K. Rowling throws fans into a tizzy with mysterious tweets
The Harry Potter author isn’t happy with the rumors out there that her next novel will be a romance and she took to Twitter to clear the air, according to the Independent.
There's a story in today’s Mail that I was in a London bar on Monday ‘celebrating’ handing in a ‘romantic novel’ to my publishers…

Rowling has released three novels in the last few years — The Casual Vacancy in 2011, and The Cuckoo’s Calling and The Silkworm, both under the name Robert Galbraith. Rowling had hoped the Robert Galbraith secret would remain a secret, but her law firm leaked the news that she was, indeed, writing the books. After the news leaked, The Cuckoo’s Calling became a best seller.
J.K. Rowling shuts down Dumbledore gay basher with the most perfect tweet
But at this point in her career, Rowling seems more intent on writing good content than she is on making (more) millions. She also released some short Harry Potter stories very recently. She is currently “tweaking” a screenplay about the story: Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them.
Rowling ended her tweeting by doing what she does best: continuing to write.
Back to work now. See you when I've finished something X
