Lamar Odom is a lost cause — in more ways than one
Khloé Kardashian is really trying to put the memory of her marriage to Lamar Odom behind her. However, there is one sticking point to her efforts in moving on: the NBA star is nowhere to be found.
Kardashian filed for divorce last December, but the paper have not been signed. The reality star has been unable to locate the athlete to seal the deal.
An Us Weekly source revealed, "Khloé can't even get in touch with him right now." Another insider added, "He refuses to sign the divorce papers."
Is this Odom's way of keeping the TV personality in his life? Friends of the former Lakers star say he's still holding out hope for a reconciliation even though he reportedly stepped out on their marriage with several women and battled with drug addiction. For Kardashian, it's just time to let go.
She dated rapper French Montana for eight months, so he was a nice distraction for a bit. Yet, Kardashian wants to close the chapter on her marriage to Odom.
Odom has continued to follow a troubled path. He was released from the New York Knicks over the summer. Team president Phil Jackson said in a public statement at the time that the basketball player failed to "uphold the standards to return as an NBA player. We found it necessary to free up the roster spot."
Sources continue to report that Odom hasn't found that spark to get himself back into shape. They said, "Everyone was hoping that what went down with Khloé would see him rededicate himself to training and getting in shape for the season, but he seems to be only half in it."
Whether he's stuck in a rut or not, he can't continue to drag his ex-wife down with him.
