Kevin Hart begs to save a fan's job
Kevin Hart is not only hilarious, he has his fans' backs big time.
The comedian and Real Husbands of Hollywood star showed some serious class by standing up for one of his fans who recently lost her job.
BET reports that Genesha Bradley, a shuttle bus driver for National Car Rental, was suspended without pay after she stopped her bus at LAX, hopped off and took a selfie with Hart. Now, the A-list actor has released a video in which he makes an impassioned plea to the company to give Bradley her job back.
"It's been brought to my attention that Genesha (Bradley) has been suspended for taking a selfie with me," Hart says in the short clip, posted to TMZ. "I'm asking National to please give this woman a pass."
"I love National," he continues, "and if I had seen me, I would have taken a selfie with me too!"
Then he gets real with the company.
"Come on!" he pleads. "Have some compassion!"
As BET points out, he's basically making an awesome commercial for National Car Rental, especially if the company does give Bradley her job back. This could make for some seriously great press for them.
Considering Hart has a whole lot of drama in his own personal life — his divorce got nasty for a minute when he ranted about his ex on Twitter, he got engaged very soon after the split and then his ex-wife crashed his engagement bash — it's even cooler that he'd take the time to make a video to stand up for someone who is obviously a huge fan. It would be so easy for someone as famous as Hart to just do his own thing, but instead, he's showing he loves his fans as much as they love him.
