Despite her ugly split from Calvin Harris, Rita Ora still believes in love
Rita Ora and DJ Calvin Harris were once one of the cutest celeb couples, but just because the pair have gone their separate ways does not mean the singer has given up on love.
Ora covers the November issue of Teen Vogue, and she revealed to the publication that even after her very public split from one of music's biggest stars, she hasn't closed up her heart.
"Without complaining, without being moany, because this is what I have wanted to do all my life, I think it's that people may forget I'm just a 23-year-old girl who wants to be in love," Ora told the magazine. "And even though I live and breathe my job, I still want someone to want me. That's how every girl feels."
Ora and Harris split earlier this year, and while it may have been amicable at the time, it quickly went south because Harris reportedly banned his ex-girlfriend (at the last minute) from singing their song, "I Will Never Let You Down," at the Teen Choice Awards.
So, how does the singer feel now that she is single? Will she ever be able to love again?
"It's like, Will I ever love someone as much as I loved that person?" she told the publication. "You will. You won't forget how you felt, but you will love someone else again."
The British star is still trying to make it big stateside, but you won't be disappointed if you do attend one of her shows. In fact, Ora revealed people are usually pleasantly surprised.
"When people come to my shows, they're like, 'I can't believe you can actually freaking sing!'" Ora revealed during the interview. Well, there you have it — she can sing!
