If you’re a Nashville fan, you might recognize Lennon and Maisy Stella as the adorable sisters who play Rayna’s daughters, Maddie and Daphne. They’re just not getting enough stage time, though.
The Stella sisters are bumped to series regulars
Admittedly, we weren’t sure what to make of Maisy and Lennon when they sang on Nashville for the very first time. However, they’ve become one of our favorite parts of the show. It’s easy for grown-ups to get on stage and bellow along to their favorite songs. It’s another thing for a 15-year-old and an 11-year-old to do it. And they do it well, too! Maisy is the younger sister and sings some pretty mature songs sometimes. She never appears to sing just for the sake of singing, though. The meaning and emotion is clearly felt in her voice. She’s either a really great actress or a super deep kid. Or, you know, maybe both. Meanwhile, Lennon’s voice has a sweet and unique tone to it that we could easily listen to all dang day. It’s crazy that these girls have been relegated to occasional songs on Nashville and one foreign commercial. We want a full-length album and we want it now.
