Lenny Kravitz and his daughter Zoë, whom he shares with actress Lisa Bonet, have a very good relationship, but the pair decided to bond in unique way on Tuesday night in New York City, New York.
Zoë took to Instagram on Tuesday evening to share a picture of what she and her dad got up to. The Divergent actress, whose face was half covered by her long braided locks, didn’t decide to show the world what exactly her ink was of, but we do know that the handiwork on her left forearm was done by tattooist Tye Harris.
“Late night tats with @lennykravitz thanks @tyeharris,” the model simply captioned the snap.
Her tattoo artist shared the same picture and wrote, ”Fun times tattooing @zoeisabellakravitz and @lennykravitz tonight. Good folks #facesinthedark #stencilstuff #redemptionaftercare.”
Although, there’s no word on whether the “I Belong To You” hit maker actually got his own tattoo (he already has several, including a Japanese-style dragon tattoo on his chest), or if he was just along for the ride.
According to the Daily Mail, Zoë and her dad went to the tattoo parlor after she visited him during his taped appearance on The Late Show With David Letterman at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City. The singer had been promoting his 10th studio album, Strut, and made his appearance on the show extra special when he performed.
Yes, we know it’s not the way most fathers would spend time with their daughters, but if you both share a love of tattoos, then why not?!
