The famous heiress posted a photo to her Instagram from the romantic European vacation during which her longtime boyfriend, banker James Rothschild, popped the question in August. The Eiffel Tower is in the background, but the ring is front and center, right where it deserves to be.

From the snap, it looks to be a gold band with a princess-cut center stone and a diamond on either side.

Hilton captioned the photo “#engagementmoon in Paris #FlashbackFriday.”

Hilton and Rothschild, who have been dating since 2011, roadtripped all over Europe to celebrate their anniversary this summer. Rothschild reportedly dropped to one knee to propose in Lake Como, Italy, a romantic spot favored by many in the Hollywood set, including George Clooney, who owns a villa and is rumored to be planning to hold his wedding there.

“He took her out on a boat in the middle of Lake Como and he proposed, got down on one knee and everything,” a source told Us Weekly shortly after news broke of the couple’s engagement. “It was incredibly romantic and beautiful.”

And that was after Rothschild went the traditional route, taking a secret trip to the U.S. to clear it with Hilton’s parents before popping the question. Obviously, he got their blessing, and it sounds like he earned it with such a perfect proposal and a gorgeous ring.

Hilton and Rothschild have been tight-lipped about their plans to wed — they haven’t even released a statement or spoken publicly about their engagement yet — but from the looks of Hilton’s Instagram, the European road trip was a great time for the happy bride- and groom-to-be.
