He’s just 20 years old
Davidson wasn’t even a twinkle in his daddy’s eye when Saturday Night Live first premiered in 1975. Most people his age are struggling to figure out what they want to do with their lives, but Davidson has made a huge step in his career.
He’s already a successful stand-up comic
A quick search for Davidson on YouTube will reward you with many videos from his stand-up comedy routines. In one routine, he talks about just graduating high school and at just 17, he’s already hilarious.
This isn’t his first TV gig
Davidson has already been on MTV’s Wild ‘N Out and Guy Code, as well as Comedy Central’s Adam Devine’s House Party. His first stand-up TV performance was on AXS TV’s Gotham Comedy Live and most recently he appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
He’s dating Carly Aquilino
Sorry, ladies, Davidson is already taken. He and Girl Code cast member Carly Aquilino are dating. The evidence is all over Twitter with their super-cute posts to each other, such as the one where Aquilino congratulated Davidson, while simultaneously remarking on the horrors of juicing.
His father was a firefighter who died on 9/11
Davidson’s father was firefighter Scott Davidson, who perished when the towers collapsed on Sept. 11, 2001. It’s hard to believe that a person who lost their father at such a young age in that kind of tragedy could find the strength to move on, but Davidson did it. Check out his sweet and heartbreaking text on the recent anniversary 9/11 attacks.
Season 40 of Saturday Night Live premieres on Sept. 27.
