Iggy Azalea responds to the rumors of her sex tape
As previously reported, Iggy Azalea may have recorded a steamy sex tape with her ex-boyfriend, and Vivid Entertainment founder/cochairman Steven Hirsch is desperate to get his hands on the distributing rights for it.
The Australian-born rapper has now taken to Twitter to address the rumors in a series of tweets that she posted on Thursday night, setting the record straight and blasting America for its privacy laws when it comes to incidents like this.
Now, while the "Fancy" hit maker may claim that there is no such tape on the loose, her legal team is much less convincing, because they have just recently changed their tune.
"It is categorically not Iggy Azalea in the video in question. She has never been involved in any sexually explicit recordings," Azalea's rep previously wrote in an email to HuffPost Entertainment.
However, her legal team now says it may in fact be her — but she was underage at the time.
Azalea's reps tell TMZ that if any sex video does exists it would be her ex-boyfriend's attempt to get revenge on her, insisting that the footage was possibly shot "without her knowledge or consent" as well as saying that it could have been shot when she was a minor.
Think it's time Iggy and her legal team get their stories straight, because this is all just getting a little too confusing.
