Ellen DeGeneres' parody of Nicki Minaj's "Anaconda" is magnificent
Ellen DeGeneres told (warned) us through an Instagram photo that she and Nicki Minaj's "Anaconda" video were up to no good. Now that the new season of The Ellen DeGeneres Show has premiered, the queen of funny has delivered in the most magnificent way, leaving us with the best 30 seconds of TV this week.
We should have known we were in for it when DeGeneres captioned her Instagram pic of Minaj slapping her backside, "This is happening. Five more days until the season premiere. #Anaconda." The talk show host dons the same workout clothes as the other dancers in the video, but the effect is not quite the same.
DeGeneres loses her balance during a bounce-off and appears to injure herself when she tries one of the seated exercise moves. She uses her hands to assist her in twerking, indicating she can't get her butt to move like that on its own. Lord, do we love this woman. This is exactly how the majority of us would look if we tried the ridiculous moves in this video.
So without further ado, please strap in for the best 30 seconds of your day, and possibly your week.
