George Clooney can't keep a secret like Brad Pitt
George Clooney is getting out of dodge for his upcoming wedding to Amal Alamuddin.
The actor let the cat out of the bag about his wedding location. He admitted he will be tying the knot with his lawyer love in Venice, rather than the Lake Como area of Italy, as previously speculated, where he has his villa.
It's no surprise that the couple is planning their ceremony overseas, though. Since news of the engagement was revealed, there have been reports the couple was scouting locations all over the Italian countryside and even some private islands.
It looks like their settled Venice destination will be the perfect spot for the two to say "I do."
The couple's wedding is just a couple of weeks away, according to Clooney himself, but the official date is being kept securely under wraps. Still, the speculation is that Clooney will be wed on Sept. 26.
An Italian website is reporting that during an event in Florence this past weekend, Clooney and Alamuddin were in good spirits and openly discussed the wedding. Clooney apparently disclosed that, following the ceremony, the couple would honeymoon for three days before the actor will have to return for work.

It also wouldn't surprise us if Clooney is just planting these seeds of information to throw everyone off the trail. He is, after all, a talented actor and not unintelligent. We could definitely see him surprising everyone with a last-minute change of plans.
Still, Clooney's wedding will hardly be the secret affair of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's recent nuptials. And we're guessing the budget and guest count will be significantly more than that of Clooney's pal. Pitt and Jolie were married in an intimate ceremony with only 20 family and friends. They also made a lot of budget-friendly, personalized decisions that kept the ceremony light. For instance, their son, Pax, made the wedding cake!
With the way Clooney and Alamuddin ooze the sophistication and style of classic Hollywood types, we're guessing their wedding ceremony will follow suit.
