A spokesperson for Johansson and her fiancé, Romain Dauriac, announced the big news on Thursday, Sept. 4. The couple said they named their daughter Rose because it's a shade of red, just like Scarlett.

According to ABC News, both mom and baby are said to be doing very well.

Dauriac, a French journalist, and Johansson were engaged back in September 2013.

The couple also asked in their statement for privacy for their child. Their rep said, "The couple is seeking privacy and are supporters of the No Kids Policy, the celebrity effort to keep famous folks' children out of the public eye."

Johansson was previously married to Ryan Reynolds, but it seems like she has finally found the one. After she met Dauriac, she said she is thankful for her experiences, but finally feels happy with where she is.

"I feel I know now more of what I need in a relationship, what I want in a relationship. And I know I have more tools to communicate, not just with my partner, but with myself. That's not necessarily any reflection of who I was married to or what was happening in my marriage, but really where I was in my life."
