Alyssa Milano gives birth to baby girl
Alyssa Milano gave birth to her second child on Thursday, Sept. 4.
The Mistresses actress and her husband David Bugliari welcomed their daughter, giving older sibling Milo Thomas, 3, a new baby sister. The little girl, named Elizabella Dylan Bugliari, came in at 7 pounds, 7 ounces and measured 19-1/2 inches long, Milano's rep confirmed to People magazine.
"Mommy and baby are doing wonderfully," the rep added.
Announcing her pregnancy in March, Milano said that they were expecting a sibling for Milo, which is a milestone she was eager to reach soon. In May, the Who's the Boss? star debuted her baby belly in public and revealed then that she and Bugliari were expecting a baby girl.
Milano told Fit Pregnancy that she was not surprised to find out she was having a girl, because she claimed she knew it all along.
"With Milo, I didn't have a minute of morning sickness," Milano told the magazine. "So I knew it was going to be a girl."
And just like she did with her first baby, Milano is not going to stress about getting her pre-pregnancy body back, wanting instead to spend time with the new baby and being a mom of two.
"A female body is not made to look good in a bikini," she told People recently. "It's made to give birth and have a baby and be a cozy companion for it afterward."
While it took a while for Milano to balance work and motherhood, she said that once she was able to get things "on the right track," life became much better.
"It's hard not to be happy when I feel fulfilled," she told the magazine.
