Is George Clooney's fiancée pregnant?
If one source is right, George Clooney may be about to take on a big role: being a dad!
Ever since former super-bachelor Clooney announced he was engaged to London-based human rights lawyer, Amal Alamuddin, in April, rumors have been flying that the Oscar-winning actor's leading lady is pregnant. And, now, for the first time, there may be physical proof: A batch of photos published by In Touch Weekly shows Alamuddin with what looks an awful lot like a tiny baby bump.
Clooney's rep, Stan Rosenfield, was quick to deny the rumors, telling the New York Daily News that Alamuddin is definitely not expecting. But a source told In Touch a very different story.
"She's going to be a pregnant bride," the insider said. "She's about three months along. They're beyond excited. They'll probably tell everyone a few weeks after the wedding."
Clooney and Alamuddin have yet to announce a wedding date, but since they've already picked up their marriage license in London and set the location, the big day is likely to be soon. They're reportedly already in Italy, where the license said they intend to wed.
If the insider is right about Alamuddin, it would be a huge change of heart for Clooney, who has openly stated that he's not interested in having kids.
"George never thought he wanted children, but so many of his friends have such full lives with kids," the source said. "Now that he's found the right woman, he's admitting to himself for the first time that he wants to be a dad. He's thrilled!"
In either case, congratulations to the man-and-bride to-be and, perhaps, to the mom-and-dad to-be, too.
