Britney Spears is single and ready to mingle
Britney Spears and her boyfriend David Lucado have recently split up, but the singer is determined to try and look on the bright side and carry on with her life.
The beauty decided to address her very public breakup during her Piece of Me show at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Sunday.
"Well, by now everyone knows my boyfriend cheated on me. But the best part of breaking up is going on first dates," Spears said between songs, the Daily Mail reports.
The singer then decided she'd try and find a hot man in the crowd as she announced, "OMG, OMG, I need a hot guy. Where are the hot guys here tonight?"
And Spears managed to single out a fan, who was none other than celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, who joined the pop star up on stage.
As for the star's ex-boyfriend, he allegedly cheated on her and got caught on camera. The video, which made its way around Hollywood, apparently shows Lucado making out with another woman and dancing with her in what appears to be someone's living room back in August.
But it's not just going on new dates that will distract the pop princess — she also has decided to keep herself busy and surround herself with the people who love her, her family.
The "Work Bitch" singer shared a cute snap on Instagram on Monday night of herself joined by her younger sister Jamie Lynn and their children.
Spears captioned her pic, "At my sisters show! @jamielynnspears is playing the LA County Fair in Pomona tonight."
Apparently, Britney's dad, Jamie, is also making sure her ex-boyfriend stays far away from her now.
"David won't be getting through because he's persona non grata at her show in Las Vegas, at her home in Thousand Oaks, California and his phone number's been blocked," a source said, according to the Daily Mail.
