Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg are married
Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg have wed just four months after announcing their engagement — which saw her donning a beautiful yellow sapphire engagement ring — and the happy couple decided to exchange vows on Sunday at the historic Hotel Baker in St. Charles, Illinois, People confirms.
McCarthy previously joked that she could have her wedding anywhere if it felt right, even at a KFC. However, her big day was a little more glamorous than that.
"I could get married in Kentucky Fried Chicken," she previously told People. "I don't care as long as the heart is in the ceremony."
The former The View star stunned in a Bergdorf Goodman gown, a source revealed to the mag after the couple had previously been spotted at the store's bridal shop back in July.
The lovebirds married in a small wedding among family and friends. McCarthy's The View co-host Sherri Shepherd attended the ceremony as well as Jordan Knight, Danny Wood and Jonathan Knight, three members of Wahlberg's old band New Kids on the Block.
Unfortunately, Wahlberg's younger brother Mark Wahlberg missed out on his brother's big day, but he took to social media to send his congratulations.
"I love you, Donnie, we're very happy for you," the Pain & Gain actor said in a video on Twitter alongside his wife and four kids. "Sorry, we couldn't be there, we'll see you soon."
This is the second marriage for both the Blue Bloods actor and McCarthy, who was previously married to director John Mallory Asher. Wahlberg was previously married to recording engineer Kim Fey, with whom he shares two sons, Xavier, 21, and Elijah, 13, while McCarthy has one son Evan, 12.
Congratulations to the happy couple!
