Scott Disick confesses to health "ups and downs"
Scott Disick's alcohol struggles have played out in the public eye and that's the perfect reason his recovery and quest for good health ought to, too.
The latest from "Lord Disick" is good news on the sobriety front, as the Keeping Up with the Kardashians regular assures fans of the reality series he's moving forward.
"I'm good," the man who will soon be a dad to three with longtime love, Kourtney Kardashian, told People while at the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut. He elaborated, "I've had ups and downs. Every time you can better yourself it's a good thing, and a positive thing."
The reference to "downs" is practically an understatement, as Disick, who is already dad to 4-year-old Mason and 2-year-old Penelope, was hospitalized with alcohol poisoning earlier this year.
In June, TMZ reported Disick spent a night drinking heavily at 1Oak nightclub in the Hamptons and later ended up at Southampton Hospital, where he was diagnosed with alcohol poisoning.
A source, speaking about Disick's emotional struggles following the loss of his mother and father, commented at the time, "He's had an unimaginable year losing his parents. There have been highs and lows, and he's just doing his best trying to work through everything. He's really making progress."
Continuing to talk about his current state of mind, Disick also told People, "I'm excited to just be feeling good and living healthy, eating better, exercising more and doing whatever I can to get by."
When asked about his baby mama, who is reportedly due with their third child in December, he shared, "She's great... she'll [keep running around] until that kid pops out of her."
In the meantime, Disick seems to have kept his somewhat-wacky sense of humor intact. Check out one of his recent Instagram posts, which was captioned, "I'm feeling this dude."
