Drake and old flame RiRi may not be enemies after all
The world has been convinced that former flames Drake and Rihanna were on particularly bad terms. Especially since the rapper decided to send the message that his ex was the devil during his performance earlier this month at the OVO Fest in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
However, there appears to be no drama between these two because they were spotted enjoying each other's company, once again, at a hot spot called Griffin in New York City, New York, on Monday.
According to a source at Us Weekly, the pair "seemed happy to see one another."
The "The Motto" hit maker was apparently in town for his Drake vs. Lil Wayne tour, and RiRi joined him at the club shortly after he arrived there.
"They were talking since their tables were next to each other," the source added. "They seemed happy to see one another."
But according to Hollywood Life, the meetup was done on Drake's behalf as an apology for his devil dis. The rapper was said to have showered his ex with compliments throughout the evening and apologized for being "a d***" in the past.
"He was jocking her, telling her how beautiful she looked and he kissed her on the cheek," a source close to couple revealed to Hollywood Life. "He didn't really come out and say he wanted to f***, but she knows his game."
Um, what? Well, RiRi clearly didn't accept her ex's advances because according to Us Weekly, the pair have remained amicable, but they won't be getting back together anytime soon.
"He and Rihanna still talk," the source told the mag. "I don't see it as impossible that they wouldn't hook up again, but it's not happening now, but they're still friendly."
