VH1 adds Ray J to Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood cast
Get ready for another dramatic season of Love & Hip Hop as the show heads west this fall. A new addition to the franchise, Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood, will premiere on Sept. 15 with a hot new cast.
VH1 officially confirmed the cast on Monday with some sizzling celebrities. Fans will be excited to see Ray J, Soulja Boy and Omarion join the fray. The series has been extremely popular with its other properties in the franchise, Love & Hip Hop: NY and Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.
According to MusicTimes.com, the season will focus on Ray J's budding relationship with his executive assistant, Morgan Hardman. Soulja's own love life will be shown with his girlfriend, Nia Riley.
Omarion is starting a family with backup singer, Apryl Jones, while the singer's former B2K bandmate, Lil' Fizz, is considering settling down with his girlfriend, Amanda Secor. In addition, rapper Hazel E, Ray J's ex-girlfriend Teairra Marí, club promoter Sincere, Power 106 personality DJ Yesi Ortiz, music producer Yung Berg and real estate heiress Nikki Mudarris will help round out the cast for a season filled with fun and scandal.
The names released by the cable network were not much of a surprise, since several sources leaked the possible cast on the internet back in April. It was rumored that Chris Brown's on-again, off-again girlfriend Karrueche Tran was going to join that cast, but that never came to fruition.
The series has been a hit for VH1. It has even spawned a soundtrack that drops on Aug. 19, with songs heard on the show. VH1 Love & Hip Hop: Music from the Series will feature songs from Common, Trey Songz and Anthony Hamiliton.
