Gov. Chris Christie dances with Jamie Foxx (VIDEO)
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie showed off his mad dancing skills this weekend at a charity event in the Hamptons.
In the video, Christie can be seen wearing a white shirt next to Foxx, shaking around and throwing up his arms. At one point, he and Foxx even step in time together, showing off their swag across the stage.
Senator John McCain also joined in the "rambunctious gyrating," as the New York Post described it. McCain was a little more old-fashioned in his approach, however, performing the signature robot dance move.
Foxx told the NY Post after the show that his dancing partners are "always the ones you don't expect. Republicans love to dance — in the Hamptons."
Christie was attending the Apollo in the Hamptons event as Bon Jovi's guest.
The event was quite star-studded. Other notable guests included Harvey Weinstein, Matt Lauer, Spike Lee, Pharrell Williams, Bill O'Reilly, Don Johnson, Penny Marshall, Donna Karan and Jack Nicholson, who commented that Christie "really held his own" during his dancing.
The event raised $4 million for programs at the Harlem venue.
Watch the video of Christie dancing below. Unfortunately, it doesn't include sound, but it's still worth it to see Christie shaking his groove thang.
It isn't the first time Christie has showed off his dancing skills this summer. This past June, the governor teamed up with Jimmy Fallon for a Father's Day dance tribute that showcased the evolution of "dancing dads." Although the above performance was a little more spontaneous, Christie is clearly enjoying showing off his moves any chance he gets.
