Jessa Duggar, Ben Seewald can hold hands: They're engaged
Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald are engaged to be married and ready to take their relationship one step further by finally holding hands.
The 19 Kids and Counting star said yes to Seewald when he proposed to her Thursday night, E! News reported. The news came with a statement from the couple that read, "We are so blessed to be engaged! God has written an amazing story through our courtship, and another chapter has just begun! We are thrilled to see what the future holds — especially wedding bells!"
No details on the proposal have been released yet, but Duggar did post a photo on Instagram of herself with Seewald apparently just before he popped the question. She also added a caption sharing her feelings for Seewald.
"I admire this man with all my heart!" Duggar wrote. "@ben_seewald, you're absolutely the best!"
As part of their strong Christian beliefs, the happy couple agreed to not hold hands until they got engaged and to save their first kiss for the wedding day. Duggar's elder sister, Jill Duggar, also held off on kissing until the day she tied the knot.
