Kendall Jenner is a part of the Kardashian clan and has her own successful modeling career, but is she becoming too big for her own good? Or are some witnesses trying to benefit off her celebrity?
Jenner, who is now 18 years old, was out to dinner with her friend, Hailey Baldwin (another underage famous daughter), at the Mercer Kitchen in New York earlier this month when she ordered alcohol.
“The staff wouldn’t serve her [booze] because she’s underage,” a source told the New York Post.
According to that same source, Jenner was not happy with the reaction and reportedly “got up and left and didn’t pay for all the food — about $60 worth, and without a tip.”
It turns out, Jenner’s server is a somewhat famous name herself — Blaine Morris from MTV’s Skins — and decided to follow Jenner outside to recover her money. The New York Post reports that Jenner and Baldwin began laughing and then Jenner pulled out some $20 bills and “threw them at the server and walked away, not even counting if it was enough or if it included a tip.”
Morris even tweeted the story (although her Twitter profile has since been turned private).
“That horrible moment you chase a Kardashian down the street because she forgot to pay her bill to be thrown money in your face,” Morris said.
Jenner, who recently moved out of her parent’s house and bought her own condo, hasn’t confirmed the story, so at this point, it’s she said/she said. But a rep for Baldwin said everything was just a big misunderstanding.
“They thought everything was paid for,” the rep said. “Kendall was polite and asked ‘Does this cover it?’ They didn’t run.”
