Kourtney Kardashian, Scott Disick robbed of $4,000
Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick have been robbed, again! This time the reality TV couple lost a substantial chunk of change after they were robbed in Southampton, New York, in July, local police tell Us Weekly.
The couple is said to have lost $4,000 in cash, which was stuffed into a briefcase in their bedroom, the Southampton Town Police report.
The incident is thought to have occurred over a month ago around the Fourth of July weekend, but not earlier than July 1.
Apparently, it took three days for the couple to even realize their briefcase was missing, and Disick made the complaint to Southampton Town Police on July 8, the Daily Mail reports.
No doubt that's put a little damper on the couple's time in the Hamptons, where they have been spending their summer as well as filming their latest reality TV show with Kourtney's little sister Khloé called Kourtney and Khloé Take the Hamptons.
"We believe the money was stolen from the briefcase in the residence," a representative for the Southampton Town Police revealed to Us Weekly. "We do not believe anyone was home at the time of the incident."
"The charge is Grand Larceny Third Degree because of the amount of money — $4,000 — that was removed from a briefcase," the rep added. "The crime was reported on July 8th. It's an ongoing investigation… We do not have any leads as to who stole the money."
The couple will have to tighten up on their security in the future because they have already fallen victim to theft in February at Kardashian's home in Calabasas, California, where someone snatched $50,000 in cash.
