Lady Gaga hospitalized in Denver
Lady Gaga's recent tour stop in Denver must have been — ahem — breathtaking.
The singer posted a selfie in an oxygen mask to her Instagram late Wednesday night, after a concert in the Mile High City. She captioned the photo, "Altitude Sickness is no Joke! #hitThatHospitalS*** #artRaveDenver many true ravers crowd tonight."
Altitude sickness is obviously not unusual in Denver — the city's website has a whole page devoted to tips for dealing with the "thinner and dryer" air at a mile above sea level. There are several that Gaga may have failed to heed, like taking it easy on the alcohol and lightening up physical activity. Considering Gaga had just wrapped up a show for her artRAVE: The ARTPOP Ball tour, it's probably a safe bet there was some physical activity happening prior to the star's hospitalization.
The selfie got Gaga plenty of love from her fans — almost 160,000 of them liked the photo and many took to the comments to leave Gaga a "get well" message.
Even when she's feeling under the weather, though, the "Applause" singer manages to keep her eyelash game totally on point. Seriously, not everyone can make an oxygen mask look that good, though this is no surprise coming from Gaga, who's managed to look hot in some seriously weird styles — everything from a machine gun bra to the now-infamous VMAs dress made out of raw meat, though she's been rocking a less out-there look since summer last year.
Her next concert, planned for Friday in Seattle, is still scheduled to go ahead as planned.
Get well soon, Lady Gaga!
