It's a boy for Evanescence Singer Amy Lee
We have some good news for Amy Lee fans: The songstress has just become a mommy!
The Evanescence frontwoman welcomed her first child with husband Josh Hartzler on Thursday, E! News reports. And the "Bring Me to Life" hit maker was even kind enough to share a special moment with fans.
Lee took to Instagram on Monday to post a beautiful snapshot of herself and her baby boy.
"Our little cub, Jack Lion Hartzler, is here," the singer captioned the pic of herself in the hospital with her bundle of joy. "I have never known the depths of my heart till now. The world just exploded into technicolor," she added.
We're so happy for the lovebirds at the news of their first child. Lee and her therapist beau Hartzler tied the knot in May 2007 and were married in a ceremony at the rocker's family's home in Little Rock, Arkansas.
The couple were thrilled to learn they would be parents, sharing their news with fans earlier this year.
"Ok I can't keep it a secret anymore — I've been working on a very special new project for 2014 — A BABY!" Lee tweeted, adding, "Josh and I are expecting! I'm so happy!"
And there's good news for the singer's little cub: His mom collects children's toys.
"I collect Rainbow Brite dolls, Care Bears, and other toys and videos from my childhood," she previously admitted to Us Weekly.
Congratulations to the happy couple on the latest addition to their little family.
