Miley Cyrus posts topless pic to prove she's not dead
Some people have too much time on their hands. Miley Cyrus became the latest victim of celebrity death rumors over the weekend, but she decided to fight back against the hoax.
The singer fought back in a way only Miley Cyrus can — by posting a topless picture of herself on Instagram.
According to Billboard, the rumors started after a story was posted on Facebook with a headline that said, "(SHOCKING) Miley Cyrus Found Dead in Her Los Angeles Home! Country singer Miley Cyrus found overdosed this afternoon in her Los Angeles home."
The author of the article obviously had no idea who Cyrus is, based on the "country singer" description in the headline (although she is still country music royalty).
The article came after a three-day absence from Cyrus on social media, but her Instagram post was enough to show fans she is, indeed, still with us. And although the singer is never shy about exposing all of herself with fans, she took the more demure route this time by showing only her back. In the past, she has posted much more revealing pics and has shown she has no problem showing off her whole body.
No matter what anyone thinks of Miley Cyrus, she is showing who she is, and part of that is not letting anyone tell her who she is (alive or dead).
