Things in Novak Djokovic’s life are going pretty well right now. Not only has he just taken the prestigious Wimbledon title, but he’s also just become a married man.
The tennis legend has taken his relationship with fiancée Jelena Ristic to the next level, and the pair finally have decided to become “Mr.” and “Mrs.” Djokovic. The happy couple, who have been dating since 2005 and got engaged in September, exchanged vows during a civil ceremony in Montenegro on Thursday, Us Weekly reports.

And what better time to tie the knot than after winning at London’s Wimbledon on Sunday? The athlete beat out Roger Federer in a tough match to secure the title of 2014 Men’s Singles Champion. It seems like the couple chose a terrific moment to jet off and marry, and they were surrounded by 250 guests for their 6 p.m. civil ceremony that took place at the beautiful five-star resort Aman Sveti Stefan.
Djokovic and Ristic will once again exchange vows during a church wedding on Saturday in front of 15 members of their family, the mag reports.

“I would like to dedicate it to my future wife and our future baby,” Djokovic said of his win on the court. “I’m going to become a father soon and I’m still preparing for that. It’s a great joy in life.”
We’re so happy for Djokovic and his model wife, who first announced they were expecting a new addition to their family in April, and now they have even more reason to celebrate. Congratulations!
