Busy Philipps takes to Instagram to share some beautiful photos and remember the special day she got married.
Some people throw epic surprise birthday parties, but Busy Philipps knows how to throw one heck of a surprise wedding — and she has the photos to prove it.

To commemorate her seventh wedding anniversary, the mother of two, who has been married to screenwriter Marc Silverstein since 2007, posted a series of beautiful wedding photos along with some super-sweet captions.
“7 years ago today, Marc & I invited our friends to what they thought was my surprise birthday party,” the Freaks and Geeks star wrote. “When I showed up, everyone yelled surprise and and Marc & I yelled it right back- since they had ACTUALLY been invited to our wedding. It was single handedly the most magical and fun day of my life and honestly, when things get tough (as in marriages THINGS DO) I think about that day, the feeling that was in that room, how my partner in life is my partner in crime (good crime, guys- like throwing fun parties) and how VERY lucky I am.”
The “throwing fun parties” may be in reference to the surprise wedding the two planned together, but the Philipps-Silversteins have been known to throw some awesome New Year’s bashes in the past as well. “We’d have crazy extravaganzas with fake snow,” she said of the soirees in an interview with Refinery29. “One year, we projected March of the Penguins and made things freezing and fun in L.A. Another year, we projected Raise the Red Lantern, that cult film, and had red lanterns everywhere.”
Philipps posted two more photos of herself and Silverstein looking oh-so-in-love. The final pic is captioned: “Last one. Until next year…”
The Cougar Town actress gave birth to the couple’s second child, baby girl Cricket Pearl Silverstein, last July. Philipps and Silverstein are also proud parents to another daughter, Birdie Leigh, who is 5.
