Chrissy Teigen dishes on having kids with John Legend
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend were married less than a year ago and are already talking babies. Does that mean they're planning a family anytime soon?
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend may very well be one of the most adorable (and gorgeous) couples in Hollywood, but are they planning to bring any gorgeous kids into the world anytime soon?
The model opened up about whether she and her new husband, who are still very much in the honeymoon phase, plan to start a family anytime soon.
"We're not really thinking about it yet," Teigen told People. "Most of my friends have kids, actually, and basically, nobody ever says, 'I wish I would have had them earlier!' So at this point, I'm having a lot of fun playing with my friends' babies."
Legend and Teigen have spoken about their open communication in the past and have obviously already had the kid talk. They are parents to a rescued bulldog named Penny, and Teigen said she is happy with no human children yet.
"If dogs are the starters for babies, we should have three or four babies by now," she said. "I like to think of ourselves as working on babies all the time. And working on getting dogs all the time."
But just because the newlyweds are not ready for their own kids doesn't mean they both don't love children. Teigen admitted she spends a lot of time with her friends' children these days. She said, "I think I've seen my best friend's kids all week, every day this past week. I love hanging out with them, and it's nice being able to hold them, then pass them over when they start crying. Amazing."
