Jason Aldean is serious about girlfriend Brittany Kerr, but his kids are having a much harder time.
Brittany Kerr is wearing the scarlet letter of being the other woman. After getting involved with country singer Jason Aldean while he was still married to his wife, Jessica Ussery, his two daughters are having a hard time dealing with her presence in their lives.
According to Us Weekly, the kids view her as “the other woman” even though the relationship has taken a serious turn.

A source told the entertainment magazine, “Jason is working Brittany into Kendyl and Keeley’s lives, yet they see her as the other woman. It’s hard. They’re important to him.”
The affair began back in September 2012 when a drunken Aldean was spotted making out with the former American Idol contestant. While the “Night Train” singer tried to work it out with his wife, he eventually filed for divorced seven months later.
The couple was married for 12 years and were high school sweethearts. They have two daughters together, Keeley, 11, and Kendyl, 6.

The family insider shared that it’s been a big adjustment for everyone, “It’s tough for Jessica when they have to spend time with Brittany.” As a mom, she “just wants to protect them.”
Aldean and his new girlfriend recently made an appearance on the red carpet at the CMT Awards on June 4. The source believes their love is real, stating, “Jason is a relationship guy. I can see him settling down with Brittany.”
