Kate Hudson may be engaged to Muse front man Matthew Bellamy, but she has had a string of high-profile relationships in the past, including ones with shamed cyclist Lance Armstrong and Alex Rodriguez.
In the latest issue of InStyle magazine, the blond beauty revealed she was just as shocked as the rest of the world to learn about her ex-boyfriends’ doping scandals.
“I was as shocked as anyone. But I personally think that you make the choices you make and you should reap the consequences,” Hudson said. “People have a right to [feel betrayed]. Lance and Alex are phenomenal athletes who have made some bad choices and let a lot of people down. It’s a decision they made for themselves and they’ve got to loathe it.”
Yet aside from her high-profile relationships, Hudson herself has enjoyed a very successful career. In an industry that is still considered to still be extremely sexist, how has Hudson managed to succeed?
“Do women still have a more difficult time in the industry? In terms of what they get paid and getting movies made, that’s just a factual yes. Nobody can debate it,” Hudson explained.
Because of this sexism, many Hollywood beauties feel the need to constantly improve their looks, and this is why so many have resorted to the help of plastic surgery. So, how does the 35-year-old star feel about cosmetic surgery?
“The negativity is just so vast. Will everybody stop being so damned judgmental?” she told the magazine. “If someone wants to go get butt implants, then sure, go get butt implants. The real question is, How do they treat the person next to them? Are they a**holes or are they awesome?”
