Katy Perry's latest interview in the July 2014 issue of Cosmopolitan is a very interesting one, and the "Dark Horse" hit maker did not hold back when she was asked about her past relationships and her sex life.
The pop star is now single following her relatively recent breakup from John Mayer, so is her sex life now nonexistent?
Interviewer and TV personality Chelsea Handler was interested in finding out how long the "Roar" singer had gone without sex.
"Maybe six months or a year. I don't stay single for long," Perry confessed. "I carry a lot of rose quartz, which attracts the male. Maybe I need to calm it down with the amethyst. I'm not like Professor Higgins with my sex life. I'm not super strict. For me, the most important thing about sex is connection."
But don't be fooled into thinking that Perry will just jump into bed with anyone — she's not into one-night stands at all. "I've never been that way," she confessed.
Perry also touched on her relationship with ex-husband Russell Brand, and the 29-year-old singer admitted that it had taken a lot of therapy to move on from her well-documented heartbreak and divorce — the comedian ended their relationship with a text message.
Following her divorce, Perry found comfort in the arms of another man, notorious womanizer John Mayer. But the brunette beauty admitted to the magazine that there was no bad blood between her and Mayer, and she even hinted that her relationship with him may even inspire some new material.
