PHOTOS: Jennifer Lopez recycles dress that made her famous
Jennifer Lopez wore a very familiar outfit during a concert in her hometown this week.
Jennifer Lopez is channeling her inner Kate Middleton and recycling a very famous outfit — but you would never catch the Duchess in something so risqué.
Lopez donned a very low-cut green leotard with a lighter green fern pattern when she took the stage for her Coming Home concert in The Bronx, New York, on June 4, and longtime JLo observers couldn't help but notice the outfit bore a strong resemblance to one of the most famous dresses in the world.
The star made a name for herself at the 2000 Grammys when she appeared on the arm of then-boyfriend Sean Combs in a plunging Versace number that immediately made her a household name — and it had the exact same pattern and neckline as her concert costume. See for yourself:
Lopez later Instagrammed herself at the show in a different outfit.
The free concert, held at Orchard Beach on Pelham Bay Park, was sponsored by State Farm Insurance and marked the first time Lopez played a full show in her hometown. The 90-minute event featured mostly male backup dancers, lasers, old hits and songs from her upcoming album A.K.A., including the single "First Love,"due out on June 17, 2014.
