Devastated Giuliana and Bill Rancic have 1 last hope for kids
Giuliana and Bill Rancic are devastated that their surrogate miscarried their second child. However, the couple have revealed they have one last hope.
Giuliana and Bill Rancic are no strangers when it comes to heartache, and the couple's struggles to build their family and have children has been well-documented. The E! stars were hit with yet another tragic blow when their beloved surrogate Delphine — who gave birth to the couple's only child, son Duke in 2012 — miscarried their second child.
When the news broke that their surrogate had miscarried nine weeks into the pregnancy, Bill revealed his thoughts to People, saying, "This whole season on Giuliana and Bill we've been trying to have another baby," he said. "Unfortunately our surrogate Delphine who we love very much had a miscarriage. It's something that we didn't see coming. We were devastated."
Now his wife Giuliana has also spoken out about their loss.
"These last few years have been tough," Giuliana revealed to the magazine's latest issue. "Things were finally looking up," the 39-year-old star revealed. "Duke is our life. I was so excited to give him a sibling."
"It was just heartbreaking. I just started sobbing uncontrollably. But I had to get myself together for her. She's really strong and amazing," she added.
Now, the couple have one last hope, because they have revealed they have only one embryo left.
"We have one embryo left. I'm on cancer medication for a few more years. I've had to come to terms with the fact that I may never carry a child. With that said, this next embryo, there's no guarantees. In that case, that's it," Giuliana confessed.
Let's hope the couple are able to fulfill their dreams and give Duke a little playmate in the near future.
