Hmm, has Justin Bieber seen the light? His tweets suggest so
Justin Bieber has had a tough few months and a few run-ins with the law, but has this latest allegation of attempted robbery made the pop star see the error of his ways? Maybe.
Justin Bieber has not had it easy these past few months, and while the pop star has remained relatively mute about his run-ins with the law, he has finally decided to speak out about the latest allegations against him.
The 20-year-old singer took to Twitter to defend himself against a woman's attempted robbery allegations. Biebs allegedly grabbed the woman's cell phone at a Sherman Oaks, California, park on Monday, in an attempt to delete pictures he thought she had been taking of him. He told fans they shouldn't always believe everything they read.
In a series of tweets posted on Wednesday, the "Boyfriend" hit maker told fans "the truth will set you free."
He began his tweets by posting a link to the TMZ story about the woman and the alleged robbery. "It is hard to defend myself and my privacy every moment of the day. Then to see rumors. The truth will set u free," the pop star wrote.
Bieber went on to talk about his recent struggles and how hard it has been for him to live his life when his every movement is being scrutinized.
"My mom raised me to be kind to others. I get judged, harassed, and I try to take the high road. Sometimes it isn't easy. But we keep trying. I will continue to be the man my mother raised. I love people and I will try to be kind even when things are not fair. Don't believe rumors."
And Bieber showed his fans he still truly cares about them and that he is actually thankful for those who have stuck by him in recent months.
"Thanks for those who stick by me and those that help me grow everyday. I love you," he wrote.
"Off to have fun and smile with friends. I'm human. I feel. I hurt. But I got thick skin too. I can handle it. I love you."
Should the public and the media just give Justin Bieber a break?
