It's just not true. Despite one tabloid's insistence that Selena Gomez miscarried Justin Bieber's baby, the story is false.

The internet rumors were heating up, so Selena Gomez had her reps make sure that the untrue story hit the brakes. Earlier this week, In Touch reported that the 21-year-old star got pregnant in 2012 with Justin Bieber's baby. The magazine also stated that she suffered a miscarriage.

Their story concluded that this incident was the impetus for her "downward spiral," which resulted in her rehab stay earlier this year.

A source told In Touch, "She wanted that baby. She was convinced it was meant to be and that it was a sign that she and Justin should be together forever."

A Bieber insider then added, "His team felt it would ruin his career because at the time he had a clean image."

The "Come & Get It" singer's rep were forced to clear the air this week with Us Weekly by stating that the news item is "100 percent fictional."

What is true is that Gomez has been continually sighted with her on-again, off-again boyfriend. The tumultuous couple was last spotted at Coachella in April. It was also during that event that the Spring Breakers actress got in a tiff with the Jenner girls over Kylie and the Biebs flirting just a little too much.

The former Disney Channel star is now focused on her career after taking time out for her personal life earlier in the year. So don't put Gomez on the baby path just yet; there's plenty of time for a family later on.
