Lamar Odom was rejected entry to a club where French Montana was performing. His ex Khloé Kardashian, her sister Kim and pals were also there getting ready to party inside.
In what seemed like the perfect reality setup, Lamar Odom was rejected entry to a club by French Montana’s security just as Khloé Kardashian, Kim Kardashian and some pals were ready to go party inside.
As part of the Kardashian’s reality series, Khloé, Kim and their pal Jonathan Cheban headed out to the Penthouse club to see French Montana perform Tuesday night, E! News reported. But when they arrived at the popular hot spot, Khloé’s ex, Odom, was at the door being denied entry by Montana’s security team.
According to an eyewitness, the Kardashian group was inside a car getting ready to film a scene for the show just as Odom walked by and headed for the doors of the club.
“It was Khloé, French, Kim and Jonathan Cheban,” the source told E! News. “Kim and Jonathan exited the car and were filming a scene for the show while Khloé and French were in the car talking. Just then, Lamar walks past the car and heads around to the front of the club to go in.”
Once at the door, which was surrounded by Montana’s security, Odom was reportedly told to leave and was “later seen walking by Khloé and French as they sat inside her Range Rover.”
While the Kardashians insist they had no idea that Odom would be at the club that night, TMZ is claiming the whole thing seemed like a setup for the family’s reality show. Just as Odom was being rejected at the club’s doors, an E! camera crew “just happened to be outside to shoot Lamar getting turned away.”
The famous basketball player is reportedly still under contract to appear on the show, and it is entirely possible that he was in on it from the get-go.
However, the E! News insider claimed that Khloé looked totally surprised at the sight of her ex. “It did not look like she was expecting him at all. No one could believe he was there.” The source also said that it was very evident Odom was scouting the place for Khloé and “seemed desperate.”
