Tila Tequila is a changed woman, and it took a pregnancy to make her realize what she really wants out of life.
Tila Tequila disappeared from the public eye for a few years and has reappeared as a brand-new woman. Tequila surprised everyone by announcing her pregnancy over the weekend and is now saying the baby actually saved her life.
Tila has gone through fame and tragedy since rising to fame in the days of MySpace. In 2010, her fiancé Casey Johnson died, and she ended up in rehab in 2012.
“My side of the story has never been truly told over the past five years, as I have kept so much bottled inside of me,” she told Us Weekly. “It has been quite a painful journey for me, and I never thought I was going to make it out alive. So to be able to do a total 180 and finally be blessed with my first child gets me so emotional that I can barely even handle it.”
But being given a new focus on life has helped the star heal. She said, “The only difference is that now these tears I cry are of joy and no longer of sadness.”
“I truly feel that my baby has saved my life, and I will do whatever it takes to give my little baby the whole entire world!” she explained. “I know I’m going to cry so much when the baby is finally born later this year.”
She also posted a similar message on her Facebook page on Friday.
“When society is starting to become over-saturated with so called, ‘Bad B****es’ – perhaps it’s now in style just to be a ‘Good Woman’ — Dare to be different when everyone else is the same.”
Although Tila Tequila has not confirmed, musician Thomas Paxton Whitaker has told Radar Online he is the baby daddy. But no matter what, it looks like the reality star is ready to embrace motherhood.
“I never knew such a love like this could exist, but I guess motherhood can truly change some people,” she added. “I know it has definitely changed me, and I’m already thinking about having more. I just want my baby to be proud of me and to know how much I love him or her. To love someone else unconditionally is one of the best feelings in the entire world, and I hope I will have plenty more pregnancies to come.”
