Following her split from husband Chris Martin last month, Gwyneth Paltrow has also parted ways with her GOOP CEO, Seb Bishop, after he suspiciously resigned from the actress' company.

Sources told Us Weekly that Bishop has indeed quit Paltrow's exclusive brand and blog and the circumstances are quite odd.

"A week and a half ago, he abruptly resigned from GOOP," the Us insider revealed. "It's really suspicious — I think something weird is going on with GOOP."

Another report from Page Six claimed on Wednesday, April 16, that the British entrepreneur resigned due to the "conscious uncoupling" announcement Paltrow wrote on the site regarding her separation. Apparently, Bishop was not in tune with the direction GOOP is taking and doesn't agree with the way Paltrow "used the website as a vehicle for her personal life, and the 'conscious uncoupling' announcement."

Meanwhile, Paltrow is moving the GOOP offices to Los Angeles from London, where they'd been before her family moved back to California. The Iron Man 3 star's rep said that Bishop's resignation is due to the fact he doesn't want to move to LA and not because of the disagreement over the "conscious uncoupling" statement.

As is now widely known, Paltrow first announced her split from Martin with the infamous announcement on her site. According to Us sources, the actress did not want to make a public statement at first, "but Chris wanted it out there and clear to the public."
