Another Hollywood couple bites the dust!

It's a sad day in showbiz because Will Arnett has officially filed for divorce from his estranged wife Amy Poehler.

The once-happy couple have been married since August 2003, but, unfortunately, their marriage was troubled, and the pair decided to amicably separate in September 2012. And now it appears their relationship is legally over for good.

According to People, the Arrested Development actor filed his divorce papers on April 8 in Los Angeles Superior Court, saying he would like to retain joint legal and physical custody of his two young sons Archie, 5, and Abel, 3, whom he shares with Poehler. Arnett has also requested visitation rights to his boys.

However, even though fans may be sad to now see the couple officially part ways, Arnett and Poehler have been estranged for quite some time, and both parties have enjoyed new relationships since their separation.

Arnett has previously been linked to several women, including Billy Joel's ex-wife Katie Lee and Erin David. And as for the Parks and Recreation actress? Well, she's also found comfort in the arms of another man, comedian Nick Kroll, who she has been dating since May 2013.

And according to Us Weekly, Poehler is very happy in her new relationship with Kroll. "She was looking for a guy like him," a source revealed. "She wanted a comedian who 'gets' her."

The split will be Arnett's second divorce and Poehler's first, and we wish the former couple all the best in their future relationships.
